Title: Bamboo Knife Scales?
Post by: skullworks on September 25, 2010, 09:13:00 AM
Anyone know of a source for bamboo knife scales? I've heard of people using bamboo flooring. Anyone know of any more sources? Prefer it to be stabilized. Thanks!   :goldtooth:

depends on what kind of bamboo you want. ive seen some nice ones that were just the outer piece of the culm. the guy had checkered them , and it was a very grippy , solid handle...

Go to Walmart or Marshalls, buy bamboo cutting boards cheap with the number of slabs you can get out of one.  They make a very light handle...Doc
