It has been a long time since I posted anything here, I don't remember the last hunter I made. This is one I forged some time ago and it just sat on the bench while I have been doing a lot of combat knives.
So I finally felt like finishing this, which meant just buffing the handle! Maybe it has something to do with bow season creeping up on me.

Hand forged 1084 with deep dark etch.
blade is about 1/8" thick, distal tapered front and rear
Cutting edge is about 3.25" long
OAL 7.5 "
Stabilized masur birch handle with dark red G10 liners
nickel silver pins and tube
This is a sharp! little hunter, that my pictures cant do justice.
