Title: Bone handled Bowie
Post by: Bladepeek on June 27, 2010, 09:43:00 PM
Wanted to post a pic of one I did a little while back. O-1 blade, 416 stainless guard and giraffe bone handle. Did this one for a SASS cowboy who did not want a sheath, as he wanted the leather worker who did his holster to do it. Took the picture on one of my holsters, but why I took the Ruger .41 mag out first escapes me.

The top one is a large damascus hunter I did for the Safari Club International Mich Chapter fund raiser this year. Sting ray insert in the sheath.

Sweet .....

"took the Ruger out" especially if it had pearl handles.

Nope. This one is "box stock" except for some trigger work. Got an S&W M-19 that might get some fancy grips, though:-)
