Title: JS Test Knives, (picture heavy)
Post by: Doug Campbell on May 05, 2010, 09:34:00 PM
Well I'm finally feeling pretty good about my test knives. Finished up this morning on the final of six knives. Some of em you've seen already but here are some very unproffesional pictures for you to look at.
10"ish, 52100 Spearpoint Bowie, frame handle with NS & desert ironwood
   (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v82/gotahunt/SpearpointBowie-Coop.jpg)
9" 1084 Dirk, SS/Brass and buff horn
   (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v82/gotahunt/5-5023.jpg)
10" 1084, 416SS and Oosik
   (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v82/gotahunt/R0011864.jpg)
8" 1084, Frame handle NS clamshell guard & Blackwood
   (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v82/gotahunt/5-5020.jpg)
7"ish 5160, 416SS, Walrus ivory/Blackwood
   (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v82/gotahunt/5-5018.jpg)
5"ish 5160, 416SS, Mountain Mahogany
   (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v82/gotahunt/5-5013.jpg)
and the last one is my performance test knife.

Got another knife idea floating around in my brain and sketched out but not sure I can get it done in time. At any rate I think I'm covered now.

Thanks for looking!

Excellent work!!! Flat ground satin finish, reminds me of D.E. Henry's classic Bowies.
