I got some oil from king oil coming. There was some talk on here some time ago about there oil. So I did some research and had some questions for them. I read recently that parks AAA had a 11 second quench and #50 had a 28second quench. King oil C. has a 12 second quench and there F.has a 24-28 second quench depending on temp. So who ever it was that bought there oil, here is a little info. Some of you guys on here with more background on this subject, please chime in and share your knowledge..  Mark

Mater, I edge quenched a small Caper with it and it came out very nice, currently feild testing it.  And I recently quenched a farriers rasp in it and was not as happy with the results, the edge is abit soft but will still be a very good blade!

I will post a pic of the Rasp knife soon!

I hope you have good luck with your "King" Oil!  I think it's worth the price!
