I just got a small Delta belt sander.I have checked all the hardware stores around here & cant find the size belts I need.If anyone could let me know where I could get some I would really appreciate it.Size is 1" x 36" long.Thanks....

Rick,
I think the small Delta is a 1x30" belt if it's the one w/ the side disk.
I have one I use for handles etc. & use 1X30" belts on it

This is an older one & it says that it takes a 1" x 36" belt on the side of it.Maybe its a misprint.I'll try & fit a 4" x 36" belt around the wheels & see if its right.

Woodworkers supply will custom make some for you. I don't know what the charge is, it may be cheaper to buy a new sander.

I'll try it.Thanks Jack...

Larry,Where do you buy your belts. It is a 30 inch belt.I dont know why it says 36 on the machine.

Thanks guys.I'll be ordering soon.

RIck,
In a pinch, H.D. or Lowes has 1X30" belts made by Norton in a 3 pack. Each belt is a different grit. Not bad if you're in a spot for a belt or two.
A few years ago I ordered several doz. from someone I found on line & am still using them.
IMO, Jantz & Trugrit are the go to places for quality grinding belts though.
