Title: Damascus Drop Point with Camel Bone
Post by: skullworks on February 23, 2010, 06:57:00 AM
Here is one I did to swap for some trad gear. damascus drop point with stabilized and dyed camel bone. It also has red liners and mosaic pins. To me the camel bone has a mammoth ivory look. Blade is 4" and OAL is around 8".

Amazing, that blade is almost talking it has so much character.

What material is the liner?  Is it used to cap the bone as it is hollow, or is it for looks?

Either way amazing craftsmanship!

The liner is just red fiber material from Jantz. The bone isn't hollow...so I guess it is for looks! LOL! I use liners sometimes because it gives a little extra contrast or splash of color to a knife. Thanks for all the compliments!
