Title: sea cow and damascus
Post by: OconeeDan on February 01, 2010, 08:35:00 AM
Now here is something you don't see every day!
Ancient seacow bone is fossilized and stabilized.  Thanks for looking.  Dan

Mater Mark, I don't know what everyone else calls it but I call it a simple droppoint.
Prairie boy, sheath design...I just cut in the window slightly, and used the tip of a ball point pen cover to add texture.  Then I masked off the window, and airbrushed the medium brown dye.
Doug, I did buy this at the Bladeshow last year. You are right, some cool stuff there, including your knives!

Dan,  That is most excellent!  I like every detail!  The damascus, the blade shape and the handle material is very nice!  And the sheath is very interesting!

Impressive!
