Title: cheap source/alternative for fiber spacers
Post by: Scott Roush on January 16, 2010, 09:33:00 AM
I was just wondering what folks use for colored (red, black, yellow) fiber spacers for knife handles.  I've found online sources for em but I hate paying shipping for these little things. Just wondering what other folks use...

I don't tend to use spacer material.  Being a Keeslar fan, I know Joe uses copper sheets mostly...tippit

Almost anything will work if you are not too picky.  As long as you are using pins I guess.

The white was from a lid from a plastic bin and the orange is from a paint roller tray.

PS - I am no expert by any means, just a hack so take my advice with a GOS.
