I had decided to make knives from stock for my brother-in-law and my daughters boyfriend for Christmas. Problem was, I was having trouble deciding on a design until I saw a knife that Roger, knifeman-ohio showed pictures of one he had just finished. I knew right away that was what I wanted to do.
Here are some pictures of the knives. I had already planned to use ironwood and ebony on the knives so I had some ready to use. The spacer is bighorn sheephorn with brass accents. I made the mosaic pins myself. I even copied his file work. Roger, I hope you don't mind!
I also made the sheaths, I made my own stamp to try to imitate snake skin.
I can't wait to see the look on thier faces when they open them.
