WELL I WAS MAKING SHEATHS THE OTHER NIGHT. AND SAY T BACK TO TAKE A BREAK. STARTED DOODLEING AND CAME UP WITH THIS LITTLE SUCKER. KINDA COOL IMO. BLADE IS 3" OAL IS 6.25" 3/16" THICK. WHAT YA ALL THINK?<><

I like it a bunch! Nice to see the deep gut hook, too many are made shallow and they seem to cut through and tear out before completely making the cut.

How about making me a nice skinning knife similar to this? Any handle you like, I just want a nice, functional skinning knife that holds a nice sharp edge.

Nice blade! I used a gut hook for the first time yesterday and really liked it. What is the best way to resharpen a gut hook? Thanks, Ben

I use a rod wrapped with 240grit and work it upto 600 grit. slide it in the slot and should sharpen fine. If it is real dull use q 120 grit to start.<><
