Mitch Walker was the high bidder on last year's auction for the custom bow I would build to specs. He was not sure what weight he wanted for sure so we went back and forth for a few months before coming up with something he was comfortable with.
Again, like I said in my post for the auction, I'm no master bowyer by any stretch of the imagination and when I found out the bid went so high, I knew I had to do something special. Here's some pictures just to tease Mitch a little while the bow is on it's way. I believe Mitch will be going after some pigs with it next week.
Good luck Mitch and thanks for such a generous bid for the kids. I hope my creation is as worthy...

Yep, it's a lefty. Fortunately my buddy Alan is a southpaw and I was able to stand back and watch it bend a good bit before final sanding and finishing.

Very cool. Nice tips! You done real good.
Nice Brian! See you in the big state soon.
Brian - Do you call that a Frost Brewed Finish? What's the optimum air temp for spraying the finish on a bow? You must have an extra bright flash on your camera to get such nice pictures in your shop.
That's a sweet bow!!
Awsome Brian
Tracy

WOW!
I have been shooting all night and this I one nice shooting bow. I was wondering how I would like it at 56 inches but it has no stack no shock and no sound until the arrow hits the target.
I am leaving for Fla on Thursday to hunt some deer and hogs and will try to get some pics.
Mitch
Just got home from Texas sweat and she looks even better laying on a hog.
575 grain total weight tipped with a shaving sharp zwickie and Brians bow = a pass through like a hot knife and butter.
I'll get some picks up soon.
Thankyou again Brian this is a fun bow to shoot.
Mitch
