here are two i did for a good friend
both are 3/16 1095 steel, with 3 1/2 blade and 8"oal

Tom I'm not sure of the handle, but you may be right.
Kevin, the finsh is getting better and better with each knife, not sure how long it should take, but it takes me up to 2-3 hours to finsh the blade, maybe it should take longer. only time will tell
