I finally finished my first (from scratch) knife.
7.25" OAL with a 3.5" blade and weighing in at 3.2oz. made from an old Nicholson file. I'm kind of partial to para wrap handles for weight and size (I have small hands). Sorry I couldn't get better pictures of the blade but it polished out so shiny that all the camera could get was the flash. I couldn't have done it without all of the support from my TradGang brothers and sisters. A special THANKS goes out to Dana Holman for taking the time to light his new forge and heat treat the blade for me. Really very nice Brandon! That's a great first effort, comming from a guy with 10 blades under my belt. So I know what you went through to finish that!
You should be very proud and have a great sense of satisfaction!

That looks great! Make sure you keep that one forever, and get some blood on it soon.
