Amboyna wood
second knife
4.25" blade 9" OA
Leopardwood or snake wood
416 stainless fittings

I built tent for pics now I have to figure out how to use it LOL.Probably better to view in F11(for full view) on keyboard and push again to exit (http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn293/coonpeter/Test5023-1.jpg) (http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn293/coonpeter/Test5021.jpg) (http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn293/coonpeter/Test5028.jpg) (http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn293/coonpeter/Test5031.jpg)Thanks for looking!!

Kevin, I agree, those are outstanding!  The blade profile and Damascus are really nice and the finish on the handles are top notch!!!

I love your work!!  Maybe some day!!!!

Kevin,
The finish on the handles is really good. Can you tell us how you went about it? Lin

Thanks for the compliments.
I wanted to see if I could get them shiny so ,First you have to get all scratches out of wood cause they show up worse under the superglue. The wood was already stabilized and that stuff is kinda oily looking coming out of it ,so I let set in pure acetone about five minutes ,immediately put in sun till dry.Tape guard off with blue masking tape very close to wood, put rubber clove on put thin layer of super clue on with rub wax paper(quickly).Let dry(till really hard over night is better) and rub with 0000 steel wool and sand high spots off with 400 grit(softly) repeat this process 5 times and buff.I won't be doing this again probably it takes forever

Dude.
It's too shiny.
How are you gonna sneak around in the dark with a shiny knife?

Karl...all I can say is you got that covered, smothered, overshadowed, facilitated, delineated, analyzed, correlated, and otherwise explained in the greatest detail possible.

Oh and I got a box that has permanently damaged my back and I feel certain I shall never recover from...at least until I start using it.  :bigsmyl:
