Well I picked one up. Kinda a roll the dice thing. And I cut a chuck off and heat treated it and quenched it like I do all my sawmill steel. Put it in a vise and with the help of a pipe SNAP! with hardly any effort on my part. thought i would post a pic of the steel for comments. I will test the RC at work tomorrow. It started at 41RC today before I heated it up and quenched it.<><

Alot of the saw blades with caride were actually "updated" to carbide later in life. With that said I've run onto some old blades that just do not harden no matter what I do!
