Steve,

Squirrel Bait is building me a forge, then a hyraulic press so I can do that.

Right now, I'm having to buy bar stock from others and do stock removal, then send the blades off to TX to get heat treated.

It's tedious- but you have to start somewhere.

As you can tell, I frequently build this shape of knife.

It's truly an all around design, and will work as a skinner gutter and somewhat as a utility knife.

The steel is 1084 15N20 and will get and keep a good edge with proper sharpening.

Look for a leaf blade, a bowie, and some other interesting stuff as I get my orders caught up in the next month.
