Looks like that integral "bug" done bit me.
Not sure which photo to post so I'll post them both.
I did like the Davy Crockett idea, but the other one shows the knife better.
A really nice piece of Macassar Ebony graces this 5160 integral made with my through-tang construction. This type of threaded tang and nut construction integrates the entire integral blade with the handle material.
I simply find the appearance and feel of these to have a certain grace that I can't ignore.
