This was a practice throw away but I thought it might make a nice camp knife for Bear Quest so I just added some plain Osage slabs. Except Osage is never plain...look at the end grain on the butt of the handle. No wonder everyone who makes selfbows falls in love with Osage...Doc

Love that book matched osage. Very nicely done.

Doc, that is awesome. I have never seen one of your knives that I would classify at a "throw away"!!

JEFF,
IF YOU'RE GOING TO THROW IT AWAY, GIVE ME YOUR ADDRESS. I'M NOT TOO PROUD TO PICK TRASH! IF YOU HEAR YOUR TRASH CANS BANGING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, PLEASE HOLLER BEFORE YOU START SHOOTING!

Good job Doc!!!
Hey Doc on this Bear Quest do we kill any bears???
-
Rooster...100% in opportunities to shoot a bear over the past 18 years! Last year I think there were 20 +/- taken. I don't think anyone can come close to those percentages. It's been my proving ground for my knives :)

your bringing that big boy to Rothman's ahh Doc ? I'd love to see it in person.
Rooster I actually like to say 110% oppurtunity.Everyone has a chance to arrow a critter. Its just up to the shooter to do the rest. The bears will be there waiting.
