I swear I WILL eventually get to steel, but for now this is all I can do.

Nice! Did you do the scrimshaw work?
-
Very nice work !!
-
Nice job.

Rick, those are some kind of sweet! Love the scrimshaw, esp. the feather! The way I figure it, if you can knap you sure as heck can file & grind!
-
Metal is nice but rock is cool. Great job, I would take one of those in a heart beat.
-
Thanks for the compliments. I did the scrimshaw. In fact, those are the first two I've done.

Posting knives here and then posting them for sale is bad Mojo here. Only Sponsors and Associate Sponsors are allowed to list stuff they make for sale.

I guess it has already been removed. Thanks. Sorry about the confusion.

WOW!!! What did you use for a scrimshaw tool if you dont mind my asking?
-
WOW those are very cool.

Izzy,
I have a really sharp pointed wood carving knife. I just carefully used the tip of it like I was writing with a pencil. A pin vise with a sewing needle would be more ideal though.

The knives are really great! Did you free hand the scrimshaw?
-
First I free hand a sketch with pencil on the handle and then I follow my sketch with the knife.
