Here is one I had laying around unfinished. I call it a frontier style...not sure of what it really is. Unknown origin damascus with Imbuya Phoebe wood scales and brass pins. It has a 4-1/2" blade and 9-1/4" OAL. I think this is a keeper for me to see how the damascus holds an edge.

An integral! How about that. Cool looking.
Is the tang tapered? Did you use fiber liners in front and behind the scales to help it fit better.
Sorry, I cannot see the photos well enough on my crappy screen to see these things...probably evident to those with nice monitors!

It has a short full tang so I routed out the area where the tang fit in the scales. The handle is flush in the back area. Just to short for my hands! LOL! You can see where the tang ends in the bottom picture. No liners. One little gap which is no big deal since it is going to be a user for me.

I really like the idea of integrals...I want to make one with some round rod as soon as my new forge is ready!
Nice looking, Skullie.

The scales are actually in two pieces. I routed out the area for the tang with a dremel tool.

I really like it!
It kinda reminds me of my roach belly. I like my roach belly because I have small hands and it fits me in every way. I've used it as a hunting knife for a long time. I use it around the house also and have used it cutting steaks and such...the wife makes sure I wash it though!
I think you got a keeper for sure.
