So, here's my first finished knife ever, thanks to a kit I got from Skully. :D It's a simple drop point, but I love the clean lines. The kit came with some cherry (i think) scales and tiny 1/8" brass pins, but I decided to use some walnut I had laying around and some larger 3/16" pins. I finished it with some satin polyurethane. I wanted some tru-oil, but didn't have enough time. This is a Christmas present for my brother-in-law, so I was really pressed for time.

The sheath is my first attempt at a cross-draw, but I think it's pretty cool. I'll have to make myself one now. It's not totally done yet, I still need to seal the edges and burnish, but it's close enough for a couple pics.

So, what do ya'll think? I'm hoping to get some more knives made soon out of some old saw blades, but they're taking a while.
Anyway, thanks again Skully!
