I have been wanting a hawk for awhile and finally got one didnt have a sheath so I got busy and built one along with a small knife I put on the front of the hawk sheath I thought it was kinda cool so here it is to let you guys tell me what you think . the blade on the little knife is a carbon stell blade that measures 2"s its sharp as a razor blade .

I didnt make the hawk another fellow hand forged it for me. I only made the knife ( not the Blade ) and sheath I made a antler finger guard for the knife as well . also when I was building it the sheath I burnt it for the stripes to match the handles on the knife and hawk when i was working with it it took on the stress cracks I kinda liked it it made it look used .

Like all the steel a bunch! Really like the way you integrated the knife sheath into the whole design! Nice work!

Hey Dorris,
Hey from a fellow Kentuckian. I'm about 30-40 miles west of you over near the lakes. Cool! Do you black powder? If so, how's the BP season going over there? They laid up on me today waiting for the rain! GRRRR!!! Oh, well. Get um tomorrow. Now to the hawk.
Like the whole package. Like the rest of the guys, love the way you carried the camo look through the hole thing.
First, did you torch the white tail bone as well or is it stain of some kind?
And second, are you going to carry it hunting with you? I know Nortonville folk are subject to hunt with some unusual weapons. ;~)
Just kiddin' of course, but that camo look does make me think it would be good in the woods.
Hello, again from the lakes. Keep at the leather work. It'll eventually get where it takes half the time to do twice the work and a lot more fun than stress.
Oh, was it a Kentucky boy that made the Hawk for you? Haven't run into any other makers in our area. Kinda thinking it's about time!
Again, good work.
