I have been working on this knife for too long. It did not end up anything like it started. The first attempt on the file work failed, so the blade got smaller. Droping the blade after quenching resulted in the tip breaking off and a shorter blade. After the nightmare it is finally finished, now I am done making knives for awhile. Next week I will be moving to Canada. Hopefully within a few month I will be up and running again with some better equipment.
5160 Blade 2-3/4" long hidden tang construction.
Handle is made up from brass, cow bone, leather, and black walnut.

Your knife looks great even if there was a few "nightmares" along the way. Good luck on your move to Canada.

Thank you everyone!! I am really looking forward to the move. In the area of knife making, I will now have a much large selection of materials and equipment. The house I purchased has a small shop and I will be filling it will knife making equipment. I plan on building a 2 x 72 belt sander, heat treat oven, and 9" disc sander, within the first few weeks there. Also I will be purchasing a small (1 x 42) belt/disc sander and a drill press. This equipment should get me up and running again and I will add more as I go. My hope is to be building sellable quality knives within 3 month time.
