Title: Leather wrapped Kydex
Post by: skullworks on November 04, 2008, 07:07:00 AM
Robtattoo got me to think about how to secure a tip up neck knife for carry. His magnet idea is great and in his thread I mention leather wrapped kydex. I found these on another forum but unfortunately the poster didn't give any info on how he did them. Just some ideas for thought!

This is pretty funny to see right now.  I am finishing up a blade at the moment and this was my solution to the ugliness of kydex with nice wood.  Those look great!!

Those are some good looking sheaths!!! Never have like Kydex even though it does serve a purpose with some knives.

rawhide works just like kydex for this purpose... just not as weatherproof, though it can be sealed.
