Title: Simonds files?

Picked up a Simonds, NUCUT, USA  Mill BD file at an estate sale today real cheap.  Any good for a knife?

both of these knives were made from simonds files
and seemed to take real good edges
the top one was  donated to this years st judes auction and was won by ferretwyo last i heard he was pretty happy with it the bottom knife i donated  to another cause and never recieved any feed back

I don't make knives but would like to learn someday.  The file is 12" long and 1 1/2" wide.  I paid a nickel for it at a yard sale the other day.  You can have it if you want it.  Scott Fessenden from up your way is trying  to teach me how to knap arrowheads. I get up your way once in  awhile.  E-mail me if you want it.  arrangements could be made for me to drop it off somewhere.  Those knives look pretty nice by the way.
