Title: Chef Knives
Post by: Mechslasher on September 05, 2008, 05:12:00 PM
here are a couple of chef knives i just finished.  a hunting/camp knife is great but i love a razor sharp chef knife when cooking.  these are carbon steel with amboyna burl scales.

Nice knives - Pre Fab or did you forge those?  I am headed to the shop in the AM to attempt forging something like that.  I like making kitchen knives because you can use them every day instead of a couple times a year.

Very Nice

Very nice.  I predict that the chef will be sending you compliments.

these carbon steel blanks were forged in solingen germany by herder.  they will flex almost 45 degrees and come back straight.

I have been making my chefs knives out of L-6 and they come out great.  I have sold quite a few now.  Nice work.
