Well I just finished this one recently.  The osage is from a piece I have had for years but it will be a while before it looks aged.  I could put it in the sun and it will darken pretty quick.

Thanks Bobby,

Very nice knife, is it a patch knife?

A little big for a patch knife but I supose it would work.  More of a camp knife with a raw, mountain man look.  Fun to make.  I am getting real obsessed with forging.  I have my first damascus blade etching in acid on the kitchen counter right now and I forged a big bowie from the same piece of coil spring I made the above knife from.  Knives are fun.

Set that osage out in the sun and it will turn the deep orange color in days...

The rusty honey color of aged osage, a treat for me!

I have a special knife in the making from a friend, with a beautiful osage handle  :jumper:    :jumper:

Lucky me!
