Hey Brad,
Are you a member of Trad Bowhunters of GA? Haven't heard your name around much...what do you shoot, longbow or recurve?

Are you coming to the hunts in Cohutta this fall? Have you been invited?

Good morning Ray,  No I am not a member of the Trad Bowhunters of GA.  My interest in bowhunting?making came from buying the book Bowyer's Bible #1.  Right now I have it  in my head that I going to build a bow! The more I read the more I realize I have a lot to learn,  kinda reminds me of knife making a few years ago!  Never shot a bow that did'nt have wheels and cams on it, ashamed to say.  Gotta start somewhere.
As for not hearing much about me,  I guess I'm somewhat fearful of computers and such.  I am getting over that, they usually explode when I get near!  I wanted to start posting here because of the friendliness and openess here,  plus it helps that I know Jon Christensen and Lin Rhea.  Sorry for being so long winded.
Brad

glad you are on board!! If you want help on building a bow, there's guys like Dan Spiers in Atlanta who can give you lots of assistance, that's for sure.

Do you know Joel Smith? Bear Country Outfitters down you way? He's Pres. of TBG...and a good fella to know if you are getting into trad stuff.

Your workmanship is awesome...glad to have your knowledge base here to learn from on knives.

Hi Ray,  I think Dan was at Dave Swetmon's knap-in last Sat.  did not get to talk to him as much as I would have liked.  As for Joel,  yes I know him!  I forgot  about him and his trad connections!  Bear Country is only about 6 miles away.  Thanks for the kind words  I do not want to impose on you guys but I will be asking lots of questions,  I'll give back by offering help in knifemaking.  Thanks again, Brad
