Title: A blonde, brunette, and a redhead
Post by: Emmons on August 28, 2008, 12:44:00 PM
Just finished these for my three closest friends.  All were made from 1095 bar stock and have a hot waxed form fitted sheath.

The blonde has a Eucalyptus handle with arrowhead file work and mosaic pins.  3-3/4” blade, brass bolster and a tapered tang.
The brunette has a Black Walnut handle with file work pattern and mosaic pins.  4” blade, brass bolster and a tapered tang.
The redhead has a Venezuelan Rosewood handle with vine file work and mosaic pins.  3-3/4” blade, brass bolster and a tapered tang.

Thank you everyone!!  I put an edge on these knives last night and I really like this 1095.  I was able to put a super scary edge on these that just pop hair.  The leather used for the sheaths I picked up in a shoe making supply store, just some textured shoe leather.
