Well i was all set to finish my knives and decided to start cutting scales for the handles. I took a nice piece of cherry to start with, had some mesquite, zebrawood, rosewood, purpleheart, etc all lined up to start cutting. The cherry was first-cut out the profile and started to cut the blank in half to form the scales. My bandsaw table is off kiltered! Luckly i caught it quick, so not much of the cherry was ruined. (amof it made some nice pieces for bow tips later). But until i get saw squared up again, i wont be able to finish my knives. :knothead:

Doesn't everybody?
I am glad you didn't ruin too much timber. Good stuff cost too much to turn to sawdust for nothing
