Title: looking for a new/used bandsaw.

anyone have recommendations?
My dad has an old craftsman 9" that sucks and I can't find blades anymore. How are the new sears 9 and 10" saws? can you put a 1/2" blade on a table top like the delta or 9" sears? Thanks Skippy

Whats wrong with the Craftsman saw you have now?  What size blade does it take?  I may be able to help.

I can't find any blades wider than 1/4" and the one I did find broke the other day. I can't remember off the top of my head but I think it's a 56 7/8" I would love to get the 3/8" 4 tpi they used to make but have discontinued. Let me know if you have any ideas. I'd love to not spen the money on a new saw if I don't have to. I just can't find any blades. Thanks Skippy
