I've had this listed on the bow exchange, and gotten several suggestions to place it here in "pow-wow", so here goes....
Do you know a stout youngster who needs a free bow because they can't afford one of their own? Perhaps the kid of a single mom or some similar situation? Then read on.....
God has blessed me financially after years of being dirt poor, and I want to bless others. I recently bought a bow from someone who needed some money. But, the bow is much too small for me. I would love to give it to a needy kid. Here's the specs.
Shadow longbow by Vince Yak. A hot bow back when he was making them in the early-mid 90's (See TBM). Reverse handled, right handed, 50# at 26 inches. 54" long. Limbs are bamboo cored with white glass on back and clear glass on belly (meant to be a snow bow). Riser and overlays appear to be of striped ebony and shedua. Overall condition 8-9/10.
PM me with a little info on the person you think would deserve or benefit from this bow (could even be a lady wanting to shoot but no money for a bow) and the address to mail it to. In a few weeks my wife and I will look through them and pray about it and send it to the person we feel led to send it to. God bless you all.
Please send this back up to the top where everyone can see it.
Dean

Dean, the Colorado Traditional Archer's Society (I am a board member) sponsor's a youth hunt every year and we provide loaner bows to the kids. I will check with the hunt coordinator and see if he is aware of any kids that meet your criteria. Thanks for your generosity.
hi Kid. i tried to email you on the email address you have on your profile and they bounced back???
Very generous of you!!!
Man, if you're being straight with us, which posts from them what know you suggest your are, you are on a damn good track ... no matter Golden Rule, karma, or whatever your spiritual preferences, to come into good fortune and want to share it, could be the salvation of this filthy stinking selfish world, if adopted by everyone. While I am not a religious person, I am deeply spiritual and concerned with reciprocity and justice ... and so I say bless you!
And Hood ... how'd you get a picture of my puppy dog? dave
Kid, that is very nice of you, very nice indeed.
Hi Kid. PM sent Thanks and god bless you as well
I just made a youth bow (20#) that I donated to my Club to raffle off. We have youth classes on Wed and Sat and I'm sure that's where most of the ticket sales will be. So-o-o-o, I guess what I'm saying is, if you can't find someone in need, raffle it off at your nearest club and use the funds to advance their youth archery program.
