Title: Back Yard Shootin' today
Post by: Migra Bill on January 20, 2008, 08:22:00 PM
You know it was real cold here in Maryland today, but I spent 2 hours shooting outdoors. I have 3 bows that I shot and I really expected my Bear Kodiak Hunter to rule the day BUT... That Red Wing Hunter that I got from SMALSON was the most quiet and smooth bow out of the 3 today

Still think I need to "shoot the string in" on my Bear. Haven't found that sweet spot yet.

Good on ya.  I thought about shooting today.  But it was about 12 degrees with a wind chill not on the positive side of the scale.  So I just stayed inside and played with my son!

I had a lot of fun today. MigraBill came over to his old house (which I happen to have bought) and we were freezin' and flingin'. Loads of fun!

It was cornucopia of recurves today, we shot every bow on the wall. Wings and Pearsons and Bears...Oh my! My apologies to Dawn for introducing you to a Super Kodiak.

more power to you guys.  I went out yesterday and checked out a possible archery site for a demo that my medevial group might be doing later this year.  finding a safe location in a small town is hard to do. but we found one.
