Who needs a treadmill?

Find me a rabbit, Huck
(http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj306/northernmichigan/IMG_0922.jpg)

Stay close Huck. You KNOW dad's not a real good shot.

I think there's something in here...

Get R-E-A-D-Y...

There's gotta be one in here.

Two Amigos...

And so it goes. Just another of many rabbit "hunts" the result of which makes me thankful for the venison back home in the freezer. As I type, "Mama Labs" (my wife, Natalie) is in the kitchen making her two starving hunters a nice venison meatloaf. When you're fortunate enough to have a wife who will follow you into the woods to take pictures when the wind chill is ZERO degrees, and then, once home, whip up an adult hot chocolate (hot chocolate and Bailey's Irish Cream) to help take the edge off until dinner is served, well, that's about as good as it gets and I thank the Lord each day for my abundant blessings.

Your son and dog praying, that's a classic.  Bet that one's framed somewhere in the house or office!

That was great! Tahnks for taking everyone for a walk in the woods.
Nothing better than a good friend to go hunting with.

For clarification, the little boy and hound in the opening photo are not my own. It was just one of those cutesy pictures that gets forwarded around through e-mail. The comment about Michael Vick was paraphrased from the orignal comment which was not appropriate for this site.

Killdeer: I have several pair of these pants which I believe are of German Military origin. Believe it or not, I've had these pants for close to twenty years and I think I paid about $10/pair at the time. I'm sure you'll agree that they are exceptional!

That`s the biggest, tan colored, web footed beagle I have ever seen!

Is he as stubborn as the tri-colored ones?

Jacobsladder:

Really looking forward to our rabbit "stomp" in February. Hopefully the temps will be a tad warmer. It was so cold today that I had to visually confirm that I still had fingers on my drawing hand. Nothing that a little Baileys couldn't cure though.
