Has anybody developed a pain in there bow arm. If you put your arms out in front palms down the muscle on top of the forarm is where the main part of the pain is located. Is this from shooting or work, cause if its from work im quittin and if its from shooting I guess I will have to go to the doctor. Just woundering if this has happened to anyone else.

Do a search for tendonitis threads cause that's what you have. I'm currently trying to get over it.
Ice it. Lots of ice, several times each day/evening if you can. Rest it. Seriously. Don't even be tempted to shoot your bow as that will only set you back.
Do some research on it and you'll find lots of different things to try but the biggest thing is plain old rest.
Good luck.
I haven't shot a bow in almost 2 months now and it sucks. It is slowly, and I mean SLOWLY getting better. I'm hoping to be able to resume shooting again by the end of March.

Yep, I'm no doctor but like Otto, I suffered with it a few years ago. It takes rest and more rest to cure it. I have a friend who had it and kept on shooting his compound. He ended up having to have his tendon re-glued. Bottom line is get it checked out by a doctor.

I'll jump on this and concur with what everyone else said. Don't think it will just go away. I went throught this to the point of getting cortisone shots several times and lots of physical therapy. It has taken almost two years to get back to the point where I am just ready now to start back again with my recurve. I could shot the compound ok this past season but wasn't ready for the recurve.
