I know all about clickers but thought I might like to try a kisser botton. anyone know were to get them and have you use one and your opinions. thanks
Are you going to be shooting with a mechanical release?
no
You using a below the chin type of anchor?
the big auction site has them as well as most archery stores carrying compound acessories.
If you're going to be shooting fingers a kisser button probably won't work all that well for you depending upon how you anchor. Personally my knuckle touches the corner of my mouth so a kisser would be pretty much just weight on the string.
It's the off season for me so I am just messing with different idea's to be more consistant and thought a kisser might be worth trying. Maybe not. Thanks for all your input...
I have a few I would be willing to give you if I can find them.Send me a PM if you'd like......
Well then Kiss Her :bigsmyl:
varmint, Thanks for the offer, PM sent...Dan
Dan any bow shop that sells compound will have a kisser button. I use on my compound the saunder xl button. I also may have to try it on my recurve just to play around. They run about $5 bucks installed. You would then have to use a under the chin draw position. I also may try to also install a 1/4 inch peep to see if looking thru the string also would increase accuracy. NOw I know they use the peep for shooting with sights but maybe even without the sight it would cause me to have the same head position and ensure coming to a full extension every time.
