Title: G'day All, back on line...........
Post by: Al Kidner on January 16, 2008, 12:18:00 AM
Just a short Hello to everyone I know and all my mates here on TradGang. I've just been able to get online at a US base here in northern Iraq. The contract I've been on has had me working flat out as well as not being near a puter to log on and such.

But enough of that, and this place!

I've had a quick look-in at some threads and its good to see people hunting and spending time in the outdoors. Working out here sure makes things look a whole lot clearer. Be thankfull for the things you have in life not the have nots. Kiss your kids, hug your wife (or hubby!) and shoot some arrows!

Naturally I've ordered a new bow as a treat...  :saywhat:  .... It's a Black Widow PLX in KingWood, 65#@30" and a 64" bow. I also ordered it in the old LAG grip as I think I'll like it more than the newer type. On the count down now...

Sorry to all if I've been not replying to any emails, kinda hard where I was and what I was doing. But I fly home in two days for my month off so I'll catch up with you all then.

Stay safe all, kind regards...

Al Kidner.

Oh and I must say Danny is a champ for passing on that bow too.

Al,

If you get down to the IZ look me up. I am on Union 3. Just ask someone where the TT team lives and they will point you in the direction. We are pretty much the only US team here.

Kidner! I've got some lies to tell you about WA goats; even saved you some! It's good to know you've got time-off for good behaviour. We'll have a yarn sometime. Cheers, Ben

Thanks lads for all the kind words. Currently I'm still waiting to fly out... ahhhh life in a war zone!

Anyway....., yes JC and Whip, we are still on for the trip fellas.

Doug my far off mate. Was thinking of you only the other day, as well as that long hired hippy fella thats the best cook this side of Billings!
Bought you both something the other day and I'll post it off soon.

Mike, I'll email soon mate and Chris you've a PM.

Planning on getting out for a hunt when I'm home so stay tuned for some pics. Also not enjoying the weight on my new Widow T/D Longbow. If I was a betting man I'd say it'll turn up when I'm in country working!

Again lads, thanks and regards to all...
