Title: Any word on commercial internal footings?
Post by: kahunter on January 15, 2008, 12:11:00 AM
Has anybody heard if this is actually going to happen soon?  I will be buying some shafts soon, but if something like this is available I would want to make sure my shafts are compatible.

I'm assuming this would be a separate component rather than an integrated shaft??

I made a jig to put bamboo internally in my cedars to make them more resistant to boot top breaks-it works.  I have no idea if anyone else is doing an  internal footing.

There is an arrow made now by Trophy Ridge that has a brass insert that also foots the arrow with a brass sleeve. I haven't tried them yet but they look interesting.

The only thing I know about them is what Dr. Ashby shared in the last couple of reports.  They sound like a great idea.  Just wondering if anyone knew anything else.

I'm waiting, too.  Anxiously!
