Title: Martin Savannah - Horne's Brush Bow?
Post by: SteveL on January 14, 2008, 04:46:00 PM
Like a lot of you I let a bow get away I really liked. A Martin Savannah. Now I want to get another but Horne's Brush Bow has caught my eye.

Have any of you shot both? If so, how would you compare them in terms of feel at the shot? And which grip did you prefer?

Actually, at this point I'm leaning toward the Brush Bow just to try something new.

Thanks,
Steve

I have never shot the Savannah, but the Brushbow is awesome. I just got mine on friday and I am really impressed. I don't think you could go wrong with a Brushbow.

Hands down the Brushbow I owned two great bows and I shot a Savannah. The grip/riser will improve your accuracy too.Positive hand placement. Mark has a bunch in stock too.

Go for the Brushbow! Great shooters and the grip is real comfy.

I have had both and neither are keepers in my opinion.  For the same money their are much better bows on offer.  Here is a list of a few that I have that will blow both of these into the weeds - Bob Lee, Turkey Creek and Toelke Whip.

That is only my opinion - you may buy either of those bows and love them.  So follow your heart and only use information like this as a rough guide.
