Hey this on line tournament is helping!!! Nailed this fellow at about 19 yds this mornin. Also reading all the tips on here (shooters Forum) caused me to change my stance and open it up some which has helped me become more consistent. Great shot! Breakfast is served.
nice pic, did you make the quiver?
Thanks Ken,
I didn't make the quiver, I did trade a fellow trad ganger for it. His name is Desertdude he made it out in California.
Congrats!
Nice shot! :-D

A fine shot and a tasty kill...congrats...
Nice shootin'... got my first this year, biscuits and gravy were a great combo..
I love squirrel they make a great meal. Did you kill it with a rubber blunt? Oh by the way nice shooting
Thanks guys,
Robert those are just plain old 4" shield cuts yellow And natural barbed.
Stone Knife yes I did kill him with a rubber blunt (bunny buster). I hit one last week that did the whole death quiver thing and fell but as i went to pick it up he was able to shake it off and run away. This shot was dead center on the shoulders, last week was more of a glancing blow.
Joe...nice kill. I'm beginning to wonder about blunts for squirrell myself. I've never bow hunted squirrell but want to add one to a mount I have having done. I took out some Ace Hex Blunts 200 grain and hit a squirrell last week. The blunt went into the squirrell and he proceeded to run acroos the forest with my arrow and then up the tree where it eventually fell out covered with blood. I never recovered the squirrel and it left me feeling sick. First animal I haven't recovered with the stick bow. Perhaps I need to find another head...
ttt for the squirrel assassin
Thanks James, Didn't do so well today missed twice. Not to make excuses but I swear those things jump the string. The two I missed today were both looking at me the two I've hit weren't. What do you guys think. Joe
Good job Joe!!
Cool  ...Van
