I remember I was still hunting on this day.I can't remember much about this deer, except that I knew I shot it in the throat, but when it ran away, the arrow was sticking straight up out of it's back?
What happened was,the arrow went into it's shoulder after passing through it's throat, and the snuffer stuck in the shoulder blade, and the deer broke the cedar arrow when it threw it's head back. The arrow didn't break clear off, just pointed up in the air. Just a little more ancient history for you guys. :campfire:

The bow is a Jack Howard Hunter, the quiver is from Fred Asbell. :campfire:
I can't wait to watch you string one of these muleys up and pack him out like that!
