Title: Canadian Glass?
Post by: RAU on January 13, 2008, 09:41:00 PM
Hello, any of you guys have any experience w/ canadian glass? Is it as good as Botuff. I see it for sale at Fedoras  www.tradmaterials.com (http://www.tradmaterials.com)  and its quite a bit cheaper than botuff. Also does anyone know what they mean by with or without scrim?

Thanks,
Don

From what I read on another thread, I believe scrim is glass fibers 90 degrees to the longitudinal fibers.  It seems the consensus was that it was better than just longitudinal glass.

I used it back when Gordons had cloudy issues. It was super clear and worked fine in longbows. Not the best for curves.
