I was talking with a friend today and he said that he read in NY sportsman that the DEC wants to eliminate free licences for seniors because of the amount of revenue lost. Can anyone confirm this?

The Conservation Fund Advisory Board is looking to recoup the income from the free licenses. Basically what they're saying it that the free licenses are a big drain on the fund and the state should be making compensation.
