Today it is cold , but most of the snow melted ( for now... ;) ) in the January thaw. Drifter2, Frenchymanny, Jake H. and I are heading to one of our favourite spots to shoot stumps, relax, and try out Serge's new Belcher Longhorn :p
It is high, rugged and slippery this time of year, but there are scores of stumps up there...
We are gonna have a blast! 4 TGers? oh yeah, it is gonna be a great day.
We will come back, shoot at my range for a bit, then eat a feast prepared by the Forest Witch. :archer:
We have a few cameras on hand, so there will be alot of pics.
Peace.

Sorry I missed out on this one.Went and seen Mom at the hospital.Things are looking good there.Jake, noticed a little colour added to the beard.Serge, figured if that bow was anything like Jeff used to make you would love it.Manny, guess there was no shorts to dry today!!Missed you and Kelly this fall Cary.
Take Care,OBB
Harl,I never shoot one of Jeff's bow but this bow "longhorn" is by far the best one I've ever shoot,a keeper in all aspect. All the best to your mom.
Serge
I'm still waitin on my Mississippi Long Bow before I can get any stumps :)
You will like this Mark :archer: What's the specs of your MLL?
It will be 64" 50lbs at 28" with Birds eye maple limbs, Black walnut and cocobolo riser with maple between the riser laminations. I am expecting Jim to send some pics of the first steps in the next week or two.
Should be a nice looking bow, make sure to post some pics when it arrive.
