I built this bow a few weeks back and I am very happy with it so far. It appears to have some "mojo". The 4 hunts with it have produced 2 pigs and a deer. I love the way this thing shoots!

Great job on the critters and the bow! That size doe is juuuussst right for eating.
-
Great photos. I'm curious as to how long the bow is and what is it's poundage?
-

Great going Dan !
You're a killing machine -------.

You are a talented man! Good Work.

Thanks all. Night Wing its 60" and 48#@28". Exactly 50# at my 29" draw. What I like most about it is how quiet it is. Its as quiet as my longbows and very easy to shoot.

Great shot and a beautiful bow you made! If I had any talent I would try that! :)
-
congrats on a fine looking bow and deer

Build it and they will DIE!! :notworthy:

You owe me big time brother for finding you that place to hunt!!!!! GOOD SHOOTING!

Nice job all the way around.

Awesome!

Thanks all! Pat im getting 183 with a 29" draw shooting fingers with 545 grain arrows (Im getting 50.1# on my digital scale at 29") I cant believe it but I think it is faster than my carbon skinned long bows. Best guess is high 180s at 10gpp and 28" AMO draw out of a shooting machine. It has a classic "fast bow" FD curve with a a big preload "hump" and no stack to 29.5" I dont have a shooting machine built yet so I can only guess at the efficiency but judging by its silence and lack of hand shock its putting the vast majority of the energy into the arrow. I would love for you to shoot it and give me your impression.

Dan, looks like you've come up with another winner! Congrats on both the animals, bow and the great design.. I look forward to seeing and shooting your new creation...
-
Very nice! That is a great looking bow. Seems to be a killing machine.
-
Must make you feel pretty proud. Can't imagine having the talent to build something and have it produce great results.
I'm as 'bout as talented as a 1 legged spider playing an 8 stringed instrument! :biglaugh:

Great Bow and great job getting the job done!
-
Great looking bow. Looks like a blacktail but you built it yourself. That is great.

Yeah Boy!

Did you hit that deer a little high and just above the gut? Di she go down quickly?

The new bow struck again this evening at about 6:30 pm. I really love this new rig! Sorry for the poor quality pic. Took it on a cell phone.
