You guys ready to do it again?
27 January I think is the last Saturday of the month, so if y'all want a repeat. The bunnies and myself are ready. ;)
Hopefully, it'll turn out as good or better than last year. :thumbsup:

I am next to Copperas Cove/Fort Hood. I would like to attend if it is OK. I will have to wait until it is closer. I beleive I will be able to hit a bunny or two with my Savannaha by then:)

We had a great time last time and this time will be even better!!
Me and LostHawg have spent a bunch of time out there since then and have a little better idea of where to go, how to get there, etc, etc, etc.... :archer:

Any body riding in the Green Pony be ready to go Friday morning at 0500.
West bound and down, the cedar shafts will be flying before dark, something is dying in Tom Green County.

Think we can move it to this weekend, don't think I can waite 6 more weeks.
Bringing a couple greenhorns with me this time.
We're planning on staying at the State Park cabins, already made reservations.

I'm doing fine Jamie, just finished school and will start back on 17 Jan 2007.
I have'nt hunted as much as I would have liked, been several deaths, both friends and family within the last month so I've been busy with that. May try to get in the woods tommorow ?
How has your season been ? What bow are you hunting with now ?

This one is a repeat from last Jan. The one on TBH is a different one. Some guys over there were looking for a rabbit hunt so I mentioned the property. It just took off from there...
Ragie, Caddo, whoever, you're welcome to come to either. Its not a "website" thing. Just a bunch of traddies getting together to burn off deer season and dial in on a small target. ;)

LOSTHAWG, for my personal safety and that of my friends I request we meet in a well lit parking lot and I'll have 911 on speed dial, so nothing funny and absolutely NO VIDEO CAMERAS.

This sounds pretty good, I'm in! Besides I can kill 2 birds with one stone. I can get the semi-annual visit to the daughter out of the way and get in some good times with the 'ol stick & string!

Caddo - back from Arizona and planning on going on post for a couple of days of deer hunting. That should be Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

Happy New Year to the San Angelo rabbit hunting Gang, counting the days and we're getting closer.
So far there will be at least 3 of us from Deep East Texas, we'll be staying at a cabin at San Angelo State Park.
Gonna be MO FUN, I'm already feeling the Sunday morning headache.

Lowes is easy to find. Just get on the loop and look for the sign. It's on 67 headed out of town.

DAVEYCROCKETT, I have room for one more in the Green Pony and was saving the seat for you.
We'll be leaving my house on Friday @ 0500 and reurning after dark on Sunday, will stop in San Antonio to shoot 3-D on the way home.
I have a cabin reserved already for us, 4 of us going and all you have to bring is pillow and sleeping bag.
Will be a great time with plenty of stories and I'll give the ole girl at the breakfast place a call so she know's you'll be there, talked to her the other day and she was asking about you.
She said she liked concrete workers as they were normally pretty HARD guys ! He He He

Add 4 1/2 hours to the Dallas drive time. That's a long drive, but you're welcome none the less. Hope we can make it worth your drive if you can make it Aaron. Small game license is 45 dollars non-res I think.

3,000 acre and Bowhunting only, sounds like somewhere worth checking out. We may do a drive by on our way out this time as we are leaving early Friday morning.
We plan on hunting maybe Friday evening and for sure Sat am and pm.

The boys from EAST TEXAS, sometime referred to as the CROCKETT CLAN will be staying at a cabin on San Angelo State Park.
Total of 4 coming, should arrive sometime around 1400 on Friday, possibly earlier.
Would like to hunt Friday evening and the throw back a few cold ones and listen to some lies from LOSTHAWG, if his squaw will let him out to play ?

My wife hydroplaned and took my 2005 Toyota Tundra thru a barbwire fence, no one was hurt but my truck is getting a bumper to bumper paint job.
Have we established a meeting time/place for Sat morning ?

That's what I'm thinking Danny. Looks like 12 mile or out past the Boy's ranch if we don't see some sun. 4WD doesn't make a lot of difference on that silt mud.
How early would y'all be willing to meet at the Lowes? The closer to sun-up the more rabbits we'll see. Of course with all the stomping, I have a feeling we'll have them moving some most anytime.
Now, I get off work at 2p, so if y'all head out to the lake Friday, call my cell so I can meet y'all out there.

Might want to update your will and insurance policy before you leave, I've been known to fall asleep at the wheel due to numerous medical conditions I have.
Also been known to leave smart butt young guys standing in scrubrush in Tom Green County wondering how they're going to get back to East Texas ?

Don't know if you noticed or not but I've changed my handle to LUCKYMAN ! Listen to the song "Lucky Man" by Montgomery Gentry and that was the motivation, I felt the name fit me as I have much to be thankful for.
It's kind of a small tribute to my MOM. I'm dealing with it day by day and as you know somedays are harder than others.
I'm packed and ready, just finished my Algebra homework so we'll be pulling out @ 0500 heading to BUNNY LAND.

My mother's b-day(74th) fell in the middle of all this and i did not make this one. Well my aunt went to the hospital during the weekend and we just found out she will not be leaving
