Hey Gang, I am looking for a Leather Arm Guard with a spot to hold a Broadhead Knife or Neck Knife ? Does anyone own one and if so do you like it? Too bulky ? I believe I read about one on here before. Thanks, Tu Compadres, Suty

Topic: who will hunt witha AG/ knife
lots of cool stuff there....I like mine!!!!
Just did the searh!!
Wow!!!!!!!
Some very nice AG's there, some fine craftsman out there.
I have one "carbon caster" made for me. I love it!
This one is made my Steve Catts. It is about as good as it gets in my opinion. But anything like that will be custom and With Steve it would be a long wait. Worth it, but long.

I also have a regular arm guard from Tim Roberts. I highly recommend him and he is a sponser here. His work is top notch and if you can get one with a robtatoo knife you'll have the best of both worlds.
I know someone with one.It isn't very bulky.
Tj on Steve Catts web site it says you can buy arm guard with knife or supply your own. Is that beautiful knife one you had or did it come with the arm guard?
TJ,
I've been thinking of ordering one from Steve also. I have one question, does the knife interfer with the string? A lot of time I don't even were a arm guard, I really like the looks of these.
I think one slip when pulling or putting the knife into the sheath is too close to the arm.If you cut your arm it would be hard to stop the bleeding, especially if you are by yourself. The handle of a knife gets slick when wet or blood on it. Great looking arm guard and good photograph also. Ken
Lookinforlunkers- It was supplied by Steve but last time I talked to him he only had 2 and one of them was that one. So you may want to check with him on what knives he has. But you can do an internet search for roach belly fur trader knife and it will come up.
Dave-The knife doesn't interfere at all for me. I've never found it to be a problem.
