Title: New member appreciation...
Post by: BowRising on February 01, 2007, 09:36:00 PM: I wanted to post and say hello...I just started bowhunting this past year (with a longbow) and I have been a visitor to this site for several months now. I have gained a wealth of information from reading your posts. My deer season ended without meat in the freezer but I did get close to several nice bucks (just not close enough) as my effective range right now is 15 yards or less...and I am hunting from the ground. I simply wanted to thank everyone for the existence of this site and to all of those who participate and give wisdom. I did go to the K-zoo expo and had a great time...it was wonderful to be around so many people who enjoy the wood bows. Thanks...hopefully next season I can post a picture of my harvest...but I am looking forward to bowhunting turkey in a few months!
