What happend to the 1916? I was serching for some Gamegetters at my local Sportsmans Warehouse, and to my surprise they had them but the size classifiation is now 300, 400 and 500.
What would be the equivalent to the trusty 1916?
My new bow LOVES the old 1916's I had hanging around.
Zmonster, Size 500 would be the closet, but it is stiffer than 1916 - more like a 2016.
500=2016/2114/2212
400=2117/2215/
300=2317/2514
Yup, lousy they did that but aluminum is on its way out as carbon takes over the market, if ya liked the 1916 e-mail me as I need room in my PMs for my bunny hunt deerman406@hotmail.com Shawn
Thanks guys.
Go figure 500 is what I needed. All Sportmans had was the 300 and 400's.
Anyone know where to get the 1916 or 500 for a good price?
are they not available in the regular xx75 or xx78? I think the game getters are the only ones sized by deflection numbers..at least thats what a easton 08 catalog showed.
If you can find a shop that carries them.
Dave is right. The 1916 is available in the XX 75 camo hunter model. Easton eliminated some of the alloy models for 08 and designated the Gamegetter with deflection numbers. You can still get old style 1916 Gamegetters on ****.
You can still get 1916 in the Legacys.
And the Nocking point has a good price on them.
He's up in the sponsors listing.
I hope I can keep getting the 2018. It's available in the the XX75 Legacy. Surely, the Legacy won't bite the dust.
So, the 500s, not the 400s, would be right for someone who shoots 2018s?
Snag I think the 400 for 2018 kinda close to 2117.Kip
I'll have to keep an eye out for the Legacy's. Ive seen them on the big auction site for a bit over $60, but Im trying to find a better deal yet. Seems that you cant find good shafts for under $45 dz unless they are used. I seem to remember the old Gamegetters going for under $45 dz a few years back though.
:wavey:
I can still get Easton xx75 2016's (aluminum) at Crosswinds in Mt. Airy, Maryland.
Attached is a photo - yes they are feathers not vanes- they're just new.
Please scale your photos to the 640 pixel size. Thanks VM13
